Srgjan Kerim, UN Chief Candidate from Macedonia, on UN Reform, Gender Equality, Middle East

Srgjan Kerim, UN chief candidate and former Foreign Minister of Macedonia, insisted that the UN reforms can only be possible if member states are ready to do so.

He made his statement during the audition for UN Chief on Thursday at UN Headquarters in New York.

Kerim also addressed gender equality, peacekeeping, Middle East issues.

The UN General Assembly on Thursday concluded a three-day audition with nine candidates for the position of next UN Secretary-general.
