Support for President Park falls amid THAAD opposition

Public support for South Korean President Park Geun-hye has dropped by nearly four percent in the past week. That’s according to the latest survey by polling company Real-Meter. Only 31.6 percent of South Koreans surveyed thought positively of Park’s government. Some 60.7 percent viewed it negatively. Experts say the reason for the dip is Park’s insistence on installing the THAAD anti-ballistic missile system in North Gyeongsang.
