Sydney shooting, gunman killed

A gunman involved in a six-hour siege on the outskirts of Sydney died Monday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The gunman shot at three people and held them on hostage at 10:45 a.m. local time at Inline National Signage in Ingleburn, southwest to Sydney.

One of the hostages also died later, while the other two are receiving treatment in hospital.
