Syria opposition negotiator urges attacks on regime despite truce

Mohammed Alloush, the Syrian opposition’s chief negotiator, on Sunday called for renewed attacks on regime forces, despite the shaky truce deal between government troops and rebel fighters. The opposition High Negotiations Committee later insisted this did not represent an official position. Alloush also rejected a UN proposal for the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to remain in office during a transitional period.
