Syria’s national broadcaster has said the army killed over 300 rebels who attempted to take over a military college and open a supply route in Syria’s northern province of Aleppo. The rebels had launched a wide-scale offensive on Friday, but the Syrian military killed all infiltrators and reportedly destroyed six explosive-laden vehicles near the college. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said it is still deeply concerned about the deteriorating security and humanitarian situation in Aleppo, with more than 250,000 people estimated to be trapped in the eastern part of the city.
