Taiwan bus fire: Mainland sends team to deal with aftermath

21 out of 26 people killed on a tour bus which crashed and caught fire on a highway in Taiwan, came from the port city of Dalian in northeast China’s Liaoning Province. Three other mainland victims were from Heilongjiang, Jilin and Hunan provinces. The tour group was organized by the Liaoning Overseas International Travel Service, which is licensed to take tour group to Taiwan. Liaoning Province’s Taiwan Affairs Office has sent a team to Taiwan to help deal with the aftermath of the crash. Taiwan’s mainland affairs authority said it was doing all it could to bring the victims’ families to Taiwan.
