Tajikistan’s constitution amended to extend president’s rule

Authorities in the central Asian nation of Tajikistan say voters have overwhelmingly backed changes to the constitution that abolishes term limits for the president. The Central Election Commission says 94 percent of voters backed the amendments, which will allow Emomali Rakhmon to run again when his current term ends in 2020.
