Tanzanian Community Demands Justice | Bengaluru’s Racist Reality

Worried after the brutal incident where a Tanzanian woman student was allegedly beaten up and stripped by a mob in a case of “mistaken identity”, the Tanzanian community demands security and equal treatment in the society. The Tanzanian community also questions if they should also resort to similar manner if the victim is an African just because of similarity in the looks and appearance. Speaking to the TIMES NOW, a Tanzanian student studying in India said We dont blame police or anyone, but we want security for us. A Tanzanian woman student was allegedly beaten up and stripped by a mob in a case of “mistaken identity” after a woman was mowed down by a car in Bengaluru on Sunday night. According to the police, the 21-year-old was reportedly dragged out of the car in which she was seated along with her three friends when she reached the accident spot mistaking them to have caused the fatal accident though a Sudanese was involved in it.
