At least ten people have been killed after a landslide struck southeast Bangladesh on Saturday.
According to local police, three people were killed in the town of Cox’s Bazar, a major tourist spot in the country. Two women drowned in flood water caused by the heavy rainfall.
Among the victims are four children, including a three-and-a-half-year-old boy who was killed with his mother after a coconut tree fell on top of them.
The Cox’s Bazar town has become isolated due to heavy rainfall which flooded the city highway.
