Tensions over possible DPRK missile launch in Korean Peninsula

South Korea and Japan are on high alert for a possible ballistic missile test by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. South Korea’s defense ministry says the military is continuing to monitor the DPRK for any signs of a launch. Japan’s Defense Ministry has installed missile interceptors at its headquarters in central Tokyo and ordered destroyers operating in the Sea of Japan to be ready to target any DPRK missiles.
