Terrorist Naved to be brought to Delhi

The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Mohammed Naved will be brought to New Delhi by National Investigation Agency (NIA) for psychological profiling and scientific tests. Naved, resident of Ghulam Muhammad Abad area in Faisalabad town of Pakistan, along with another terrorist Noman alias Momin, fired at a BSF convoy on the highway at Simroli. BSF jawans retaliated killing Noman while Naved managed to escape towards a village in the nearby hills where he took three villagers hostage. The villagers managed to capture him and call the police who took him into custody, giving the Indian security establishment a prize catch which points to Pakistani involvement in the attack. Naved, who has undergone two modules of training with LeT, is being considered a hardened militant who is trying to confuse his interrogators, a tactic apparently aimed at buying time for his other accomplices, who were part of the group that had sneaked into India and are missing, to slip away.
