Thai government to standardise cave management after 2018 incident

Thailand wanted to develop a comprehensive database and policy on a nationwide standard to manage all the caves in the country. The government set up the National Cave Management Policy Committee on the back of the Tham Luang cave incident in 2018, which saw a group of boys and their coach trapped for a week before their dramatic rescue.
