“Pakistan is now doomed to be a victim of their own strategy,” Maroof Raza, strategic affairs analyst, today said, with reference to the neighbouring country’s habitual strategy of denying its role in anti-India activities. “They did not even stand by their own soldiers who were fighting for them in Kargil. Our soldiers had to give them an honourable military burial. So, how will they own up to a terrorist?” questioned Raza. He further added that India needed a “more comprehensive” strategy to deal with terror from across the border which is “festered” by Pakistan. On the first debate of THE NEWSHOUR tonight, Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami , and a panel consisting of Maroof Raza, Strategic Affairs Analyst; Maj Gen (Retd) G D Bakshi, Editor, Indian Military Review; Commodore (Retd) G J Singh, Defence Analyst; Brig ( Retd) Rahul Bhonsle, Defence Analyst; Brig.
