Thousands demonstrate to condemn Ankara’s bombings

Thousands of people marched through the southeastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir on Sunday to condemn the worst terrorist attack in Turkey’s modern history. The country declared three days of mourning following Saturday’s nearly simultaneous explosions that targeted a peace rally in Ankara to call for increased democracy and an end to the renewed fighting between the Turkish security forces and Kurdish rebels.
