Thousands of workers in Argentina took to the street to protest against rising unemployment rate and high inflation. Unions said 100,000 workers have lost their jobs since President Mauricio Macri came to power in December. The Senate has approved a bill freezing further layoffs for six months, to which Macri has opposed threatening to veto it.
