Three separate bomb attacks have killed more than 60 people in the Iraqi capital Baghdad. The third blast killed at least 19 people and wounded 15 in the poor and mainly Shiite district of Sadr City. Earlier on Tuesday, a suicide bombing claimed by Islamic State hit a marketplace in the northern district of al-Shaab, killing 38 people and wounding more than 70. Another suicide car bombing in the southern neighborhood of al-Rasheed left six dead and another 21 wounded. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Sadr City and al-Rasheed.
