Tianjin Eco-city aims to replicate Singapore’s experience in 3 yrs

In 2008, China and Singapore launched the Tianjin Eco-City in northern China’s port city of Tianjin to meet the need for eco-friendly development.

With a planned area of 30 square kilometers, the full city aims to demonstrate the country a model of sustainable green development.

To achieve the goal, local officials have blueprinted the phases of the green city building, including a replication Singapore’s experiences in three years.
