Three year ago, the Tibet Autonomous Region Museum in Lhasa started digitally cataloguing its collection. To mark China’s National Cultural Heritage Day on Saturday, the institution opened a new exhibition presenting visitors with several exquisite pieces that are unique to the area. The museum boasts a collection of over 520,000 pieces and over 100,000 of the cultural relics have been documented so far, with plans for more items to follow suit in the future.
