On Tuesday, a swiveling bridge operation was successfully conducted in southwest China’s Yunnan Province. The bridge weighed 18,700 tons and was able to make a 79-degree turn in just 67 minutes at an altitude of 44.3 meters in the air.
Claimed as the largest swiveling bridge work in southwest China, the project made sure the expressway being built did not destroy the Nanning–Kunming railway tracks, while connecting the main section of the highway on both ends. This aerial time-lapse shot shows the spectacular swiveling bridge operation. Take a look.
