Two of Asia’s top entrepreneurs held a dialogue at a forum in Tokyo. They are the founders of Alibaba of China and Softbank of Japan. Jack Ma recently stepped down from the leadership post of his company, while Masayoshi Son made headlines for his troubled investment in WeWork. Both men serve on the board of each other’s company, aiming to promote artificial intelligence. In 2020, Mr Son invested $20 million in Alibaba, and his stake is now worth more than $120 billion.
