For the first time in four years, Japanese auto-maker Toyota has overtaken Germany’s scandal-hit Volkswagen to become the world’s largest car-maker, according to sales in the first nine months of 2015. Data released by Toyota on Monday, reports that the company sold 7.49 million vehicles during the nine month period. While Volkswagen, announced earlier this month that its global sales came in slightly lower at 7.43 million for the same period.
