Trade ministers: South China Sea issue won’t affect China-Philippines cooperation

Chinese Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng has met with his Filipino counterpart Ramon Lopez in the Lao capital of Vientiane. They agreed that the South China Sea issue does not determine all aspects of the China-Philippines relationship, and will not affect bilateral cooperation in economic, trade and investment fields. The meeting focused on measures to further develop economic and trade relations between the two countries.
