Transcontinental freight train line improves China-C Asia trade

The international freight train between the northwestern China city of Xi’an and Central Asia will start its return journey next mouth from Kazakhstan.

It runs between the city of Xi’an and Almaty, Kazakhstan. With 44 destinations across Central Asia, it takes the train six days to cover its entire 3,860-kilometer length.

By July 24, 100 trains with more than 5000 train carriages had been sent to Central Asian countries.

The first train from Kazakhstan to China will start operation in August.
