“Treasure-seeking” men saved after falling into 20m deep cave

Two men were rescued after falling into a 20-meter-deep cave in Luocheng, southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region.

The two trapped men were brought to the ground after 4 hours of rescue by local police.

When police found the men at the bottom of cave, they were fully conscious and only suffered slight injuries.

Police said the two middle-aged men, together with another man, had attempted to search for “treasure” in the cave but unexpectedly fell into the bottom of the grotto.
