A van was caught towing ten motor tricycles behind it in a line, in a video taken yesterday in Xuzhou, east China’s Jiangsu Province. The van combined with the ten tricycles had a total length of 35 meters, and is illegal according to China’s traffic laws. When traffic police officers patrolling the city’s streets saw the vehicle, they made the van driver stop so they could inspect the “train”. According to the driver, he had set out from Shandong Province, and wanted to sell the motor tricycles in neighboring Anhui Province. In order to save on transportation costs, he decided to build his train, despite the potential danger it might pose to other road users.
