Turkey accuses Russia of multiple airspace violations

This is not the first time Turkey has accused Russian fighter jets of violating its airspace. In early October, Turkey said it had scrambled two F-16 jets after a Russian warplane crossed into its airspace near the province of Hatay, which borders Syria. Russia blamed bad weather for the incursion. On October 16, Turkey’s military shot down an unidentified drone. Russia denied any involvement in that incident.
