Turkey beefs up security ahead of Sunday’s G20 summit

President Xi Jinping is on a two-day visit to Turkey where he will meet his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and attend the two-day G20 summit beginning on Sunday. The meeting will take place in Turkey’s southwestern city of Antalya, also the host city for the summit. With the Syrian war raging only a few hundred kilometers away and terrorists active in the country, Antalya has found itself grappling with security issues unlike any other host city.
