Turkey’s Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has vowed to bring to justice the US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, accused by Turkey’s government of organizing last month’s failed coup. The government has launched a sweeping crackdown targeting Gulen’s followers. Tens of thousands of people with suspected links to Gulen have been suspended or dismissed from their jobs while Prime Yildirim said Turkey will employ 15,000 new teachers, and recruit 10,000 new police officers to replace the people who have been purged.
