Turkey coup attempt: Incirlik Air Base chief arrested

The US says air operations against Islamic State in Syria have resumed from air bases in Turkey, following a temporary shut down after the coup attempt. The Pentagon says Incirlik Air Base in southern Turkey, which is used by the US and other coalition partners in the fight against ISIL has been reopened to US planes. A government official says air base chief General Bekir Eracan Van was arrested pending trial along with nine other soldiers from the base.
