Turkey launches airstrikes against ISIL

Turkish special forces have launched fresh attacks against ISIL in northern Syria. Turkish tanks crossed the border into Syria to retake the border town of Jarablus. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the operation will put an end to their problems on the border. Turkey’s Interior Minister said Ankara was working with coalition forces and moderate opposition groups to fight the Islamists, and they conducted at least four airstrikes, hitting 12 ISIL targets Wednesday morning.
