Shortly after Turkey’s parliament approved President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s declaration of a state of emergency, the government announced it would temporarily stop abiding by the European Convention on Human Rights. Many human rights groups and international observers now worry that people’s rights in Turkey will be violated. CCTV’s Natalie Carney has the story.
