Turkey’s war against ISIL and terrorism has resulted in violent retaliatory attacks across the country in recent months. Kurdish militant group the PKK has claimed responsibility for a deadly explosion which targeted a police station in the southeastern Turkish city of Cizre early on Friday. At least 11 people were killed and more than 70 wounded. This comes just days after a horrific suicide bombing attack in the city of Gaziantep, which left 54 dead – most of them women and children. From Gaziantep on the Turkish-Syrian border, CCTV’s Natalie Carney has more on how residents are trying to recover.
