Turkey, US to work together on driving ISIL from Syria’s Raqqa

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Barack Obama have agreed to work together to push ISIL out of the rebel-held city of Raqqa in northern Syria. Erdogan met with Obama on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in Hangzhou, China. The Turkish president says the two countries will do what is necessary to oust ISIL out of the city. Raqqa is strategically located on the Euphrates River, south of the Turkish border.
