Turkey’s first meeting of Supreme Military Council since coup to he held

Turkey’s Supreme Military Council will meet in Ankara on Thursday. It’s the first time since the failed coup earlier this month. The focus is expected to be on the future structure of the army. On Wednesday, the country’s media reported close to 1,700 military personnel were dismissed. Some 10-thousand soldiers have been detained as part of an investigation.
