Turkish people mourn coup victims

Mourners have gathered in the Turkish capital Ankara to pay their respects to those killed in the failed military coup which has rocked the country. Prayers were read simultaneously from Turkey’s 85-thousand mosques to remember the 265 people killed in the unrest and to rally the country in defense of democracy. Mourners attending the ceremony said the attempt to overthrow the government by military force would not be tolerated.
