Turkish PM blames Kurdish militants for series of blasts killing 10

At least 10 people have been killed and around 300 wounded following a series of bomb attacks in southeast Turkey. Most of the victims are police officers and soldiers. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far. However, Turkish authorities blame rebels from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK. Prime Minister Binali Yildirim says Ankara has raised the state of emergency level and imposed a temporary blackout on news coverage of the attacks.
