Turkish police clash with Kurdish protesters in Cizre

Members of The Pro-Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, took to the streets in Cizre, Turkey, on Friday wearing masks and setting up security checkpoints, stopping vehicles to ask for ID. Riot police used tear gas to break up the checkpoints, but were met with petrol bombs. The incident comes after three people were killed and seven wounded in clashes between police and Kurdish militants in Silopi.
