Turkish soldier killed in PKK attack in Sirnak

A member of the Turkish security forces was killed in an attack by the outlawed Kurdish Workers’ Party, or PKK, in southeastern Turkey. Authorities say PKK militants attacked a military base in Sirnak province on Tuesday. The killing comes after four Turkish police officers were killed and another seriously injured in a landmine attack by PKK militants Monday.
