Two killed in UCLA shooting, campus lockdown lifted

Two people have been shot dead at the University of California, Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department called it a “murder-suicide” with both victims found with gunshot wounds in the engineering building on Wednesday morning. The police also recovered a gun at the scene. The shooting prompted a campus-wide lockdown as hundreds of officers, and federal agents rushed to the university, where students were preparing for final exams. The lockdown was lifted shortly after midday on Wednesday.
