Typhoon Chan-Hom wreaks havoc in E. China

Super Typhoon Chan-Hom wreaked great havoc upon its landfall on east China’s Zhejiang Province on Saturday.

Gales and torrential rains brought by Chan-Hom have cut powers, paralysed traffic, shut down enterprises and schools as well as forced evacuations.

China’s meteorological authority on Sunday forecast the weakening of the typhoon as it moves northeastward.
