U.S. to deploy F-22 fighter jets to Europe

The United States will deploy its most advanced stealth fighter F-22 Raptor to Europe soon as part of what it calls the “European Reassurance Initiative.”
That’s according to the U.S. Air Force Secretary Deborah James.
James said on Monday sending the stealth fighter jets is to reassure NATO partners about Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
In her words, the U.S. approach needs to be strong and balanced.
