UK economy heading for marked slowdown after Q2

Britain’s economy reported robust growth in the second quarter of 2016, but is set for a significant slowdown now that the country has voted to leave the European Union. That’s according to the UK’s National Institute of Economic and Social Research. It says Britain’s economy expanded 0.6 percent in the second quarter, up from a 0.4 percent increase in the first three months of the year.
