The Ukraine government has reached a ceasefire agreement with rebels in the east of the country ahead of Orthodox Easter on Sunday, reinforcing a deal signed more than a year ago. The truce covers the regions of Lugansk and Donetsk. Fighting in the region has intensified over recent weeks. Kiev says twenty Ukrainian soldiers were killed in March, and seventeen in early April.
