Ukraine marks second anniversary of pro-European Union protests

Crowds gathered in the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Saturday to mark two years since the start of mass pro-European Union protests which toppled former President Viktor Yanukovich. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his wife visited a memorial service to commemorate the victims of the protests. In February 2014, more than 100 demonstrators were killed during conflicts with police.
