Ukraine to impose trade embargo against Russia

Ukraine’s parliament on Thursday voted to give the government the right to impose a trade embargo against Russia. The law will take effect after it is signed by the president. Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk calls the embargo a way for Ukraine to protect its internal markets. The move came after Russia last week said that it would suspend a free trade zone with Ukraine beginning January 1, 2016.
