UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has expressed his disappointment over Colombians rejecting a peace deal to end 52 years of war with Farc guerrillas in a referendum. Speaking at a news conference in Geneva, Ban said he had asked a UN special envoy to travel to Havana in Cuba for consultations. He added that the UN remained committed to achieving peace in Colombia.
