UNEP Chief on three pressing environmental challenges

The UN Environment Assembly concluded in Nairobi, Kenya, on Friday.

Governments and organizations participating in the assembly have explored ways to address the critical environmental challenges facing the world today.

Achim Steiner, outgoing Executive Director of the UN Environment Program (UNEP), elaborated on the three pressing challenges.

Steiner says ocean acidification, depletion of coral reefs and marine debris are the three pressing challenges to a green and sustainable future.
