UNESCO wrapped up a screening of the latest nominations for documentary heritage under its “Memory of the World” program at a meeting in Abu Dhabi.

The materials are being reviewed, including two from China, the documents of the Nanjing Massacre and forced sex slaves by Japan, also known as “comfort women.”

The final decisions on which nominations to inscribe on Memory of the World Register will be announced later this week.
