UNESCO World Heritage nominations: Two sites in China proposed for inclusion on prestigious list

The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is now sifting through proposals for 29 new World Heritage Sites. The locations on the list include China’s Shennongjia Forestry District in Hubei Province, and the Huashan Rock Paintings in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
