UNICEF calls for action to improve lives of over 100,000 children trapped in Aleppo

Anthony Lake, the Executive Director of the UN Children’s Fund has called for urgent action to help more than 100,000 children that he said are “trapped in the horror” in the Syrian city of Aleppo. Earlier this week, reports said at least 45 civilians were killed in Aleppo and to the west of the city, and another 22 died in neighboring Idlib province.
